President Ruto assented to the Technopolis Act, 2026 on 11 May 2026 (gazetted 15 May 2026 as Kenya Gazette Supplement No. 120, Act No. 13 of 2026), renaming the Konza Technopolis Development Authority (KoTDA) to the Technopolis Development Authority — an institutional/legal upgrade ahead of Konza's stated "acceleration phase." Now backed by a genuine Tier 1 Kenya Law/Gazette source, upgraded from the master's original press-only sourcing via the targeted verification gate.
