Refund Policy

This policy describes how InfraLex handles refund requests for paid subscriptions, and forms part of our Terms of Use.

Last updated: September 13, 2026

1. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to paid subscriptions to InfraLex’s Professional and Business plans, and to the Presence commercial profile product, as described on our Pricing page. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Use.

2. General Position

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewal, as described in our Terms of Use, but does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund for the current or any prior billing period. Your access to the plan you paid for ordinarily continues through the remainder of the billing period already paid for, after which it will not renew.

3. Exceptions

Notwithstanding Section 2, InfraLex will provide a refund, credit, or other appropriate remedy where required by:

  • mandatory law, including any statutory right you hold that cannot lawfully be excluded;
  • an applicable consumer withdrawal or cooling-off right in your jurisdiction;
  • a billing error, duplicate charge, or charge amount that does not match the plan and price you agreed to;
  • a qualifying service failure that materially prevented you from using the plan you paid for, assessed on the individual circumstances; or
  • the refund policies and procedures of the Merchant of Record or payment processor used to process your transaction, where applicable, as described in Section 5.

4. Cancellation Is Not the Same as a Refund

Cancelling your subscription and requesting a refund are different actions. Cancelling prevents your subscription from renewing at the end of the current billing period; it does not, by itself, end your access early or return any part of the fee already paid for that period. See our Terms of Use for how billing periods and cancellation work.

5. Payments Processed Through Paddle

Where your payment is processed through Paddle.com, Paddle acts as our reseller and the Merchant of Record for that transaction, and Paddle’s own applicable refund process and policies also apply to that transaction alongside this policy. Contact InfraLex using the details in Section 7 in the first instance, and we will coordinate with Paddle as needed.

6. Presence Subscriptions

The Presence commercial profile product is billed annually, per company, and is subject to the same general position in Section 2 and the same exceptions in Section 3 as our Professional and Business plans.

7. How to Request a Refund

To ask about a charge or request a refund, contact us via the Commercial / organization enquiries category on our Contact page or by email to contact@infralex.co, with your account email address and details of the charge you are asking about. We will review your request and respond within a reasonable time.

8. Changes to This Policy

InfraLex may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our plans, applicable law, or our payment processing arrangements. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. A change to this policy applies prospectively and does not reduce any refund right you already had for a payment made before the change.
