Lake Turkana Wind Power is an operational 310 MW wind farm at Loiyangalani in Marsabit County, comprising 365 turbines of 850 kW each, developed through a limited-recourse IPP structure and supplying electricity to Kenya’s national grid under a long-term offtake structure with Kenya Power. It remains a canonical generation asset; the separate public transmission line is not merged into this generation record, and the project company’s live-output website widget is not persisted as installed capacity.

310 MW utility-scale wind power project in Marsabit County comprising 365 wind turbines, an internal 33 kV collector network, a 33/200 kV substation, approximately 162 km² of wind-farm area and associated access and operational infrastructure. Grid connection is provided through separately developed public transmission infrastructure between Loiyangalani and Suswa.
