Scale / Scope

Multi-package national rail programme (1,000km+ core network scope under study); individual segments sit at materially different lifecycle stages — the design contract (concept/preliminary/IFC design, SENER/TYPSA, awarded April 2026) is confirmed, while the distinct "Riyadh Rail Link" (35km, connecting the North–South and Eastern Railway networks) is at a more advanced, separate procurement track (contractor bids submitted, June 2026 deadline). Main trunk-line contracts had not been signed as of the CEO statement relied on here.
