Listing Notice 3, 2014
Identifies activities that trigger a Basic Assessment environmental authorisation, but only where the activity is located within specifically identified geographical areas (for example, defined sensitive or protected areas), as distinct from Listing Notice 1's nationally-applicable trigger list.

What This Instrument Does
Combines an activity list with defined geographic areas: the Basic Assessment obligation arises only where both the activity and the location criteria are met, keyed to the same NEMA sections as Listing Notices 1 and 2. Instrument boundary: not an independent environmental statute or a national planning/zoning instrument — does not itself define which geographic areas are protected or sensitive under other legislation, it applies the Basic Assessment consequence once an activity/location combination is triggered.
