Bosphorus Bridges & Motorways TOOR Privatization
Privatization through 30-year transfers of operating rights over Istanbul's two existing Bosphorus bridges and a portfolio of state motorways. Presidential Decision No. 11750 (Resmî Gazete 5 September 2026) added further motorway groups to the programme and requires the process to finish by 31 December 2031. The decision allows operating rights, leasing and revenue-sharing models and excludes transfer of ownership. No tender call had been issued by the research cut-off, and a professional body has filed a legal challenge to the decision. The final asset list will be confirmed from the official decision text.
