Who may contribute

InfraLex welcomes contributions from professionals with relevant infrastructure experience or expertise — for example, project finance and investment professionals, developers and sponsors, EPC and construction professionals, O&M and asset-management professionals, engineers and technical advisers, consultants, lawyers, academics, public-sector and PPP professionals, and other specialists with substantive infrastructure expertise. This list is illustrative, and every contribution is assessed on its own merits.

What we are looking for

Substantive, practitioner-led analysis with a genuine infrastructure nexus — projects, project finance, PPPs and concessions, investment and transactions, law and regulation, procurement, construction, operations, energy, transport, digital and social infrastructure, risk allocation and material market developments. Advertising, company or product promotion, press releases and superficial news summaries are not published.

The normal length is 800–3,000 words. Articles of up to 5,000 words can be submitted, but those above 3,000 words are outside the normal range and subject to editorial discretion.

Editorial standards

Contributions must be original, or submitted with the rights and authority to submit them. Where a submission quotes, paraphrases or draws materially on another person's work, the original author and source must be appropriately identified and cited. Authors remain responsible for the accuracy, originality and integrity of their submission, including where AI-assisted tools have been used in preparing it. Contributors keep ownership of their articles; the licence InfraLex receives is set out in Section 10 of our Terms of Use.

Contributors disclose to InfraLex, privately, any professional, financial or commercial interest that may be relevant to the subject of their submission. That disclosure is not published automatically. Relevant interests may be disclosed privately to the InfraLex editorial team at editorial@infralex.co. The full standards are set out in the Contributor Editorial Guidelines.

Editorial review

Contributors submit their article for editorial review; nothing is published on submission. The InfraLex editorial team may accept or reject a submission, request revisions and edit for clarity, consistency and house style. InfraLex decides whether, when and in what form a contribution is published, and publication is not guaranteed.

Commercial & editorial independence

Contributing does not require a paid InfraLex subscription. Subscription status does not buy publication, editorial coverage, ranking or prominence, and company participation on InfraLex is free. Commercial relationships do not determine editorial acceptance.

How Contributor Insights are presented

Contributor Insights are labelled as such and attributed to their author, using the professional information captured when the article was submitted. Each carries this statement:

Contributor Insight. This article reflects the views of its author, not those of InfraLex. Publication on InfraLex does not imply endorsement of the views expressed. It is provided for information only and is not legal, financial or investment advice.

How to begin

Contributions are drafted and submitted from your InfraLex account, using a verified account and a completed professional profile. When submissions are open, the steps to begin are shown at the top of this page.
