Investment Law No. 72 of 2017
Egypt's general investment law, establishing investor guarantees, incentive zones, and the Golden License single-approval regime for strategic projects. Administered by the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI). Law 160/2023 (ratified July 2023) expanded the Golden License programme; Decree 1203/2024 amended the Executive Regulations accordingly.
