Law No. 153 of 2021 Amending Certain Provisions of the Law Regulating Private Sector Participation in Infrastructure Projects, Services and Public Utilities promulgated by Law No. 67 of 2010

Law No. 153 of 2021 materially amended Egypt's existing PPP framework under Law No. 67 of 2010. The reform was intended to streamline PPP project preparation, approvals, procurement and implementation, strengthen institutional coordination and facilitate broader private-sector participation in infrastructure and public-service projects. The amendment does not establish a separate PPP regime and should be read together with Law No. 67 of 2010 and the subsequently updated executive regulations.
