Law No. 182 of 2018 Regulating Contracts Concluded by Public Entities
Egypt's principal statutory framework governing contracts concluded by public entities, including the procurement of works, goods, services and consulting services. The law regulates procurement methods, tendering, qualification, bid evaluation, contract award and aspects of post-award contract management. It is particularly relevant to conventionally procured public infrastructure and should be distinguished from Egypt's dedicated PPP procurement framework under Law No. 67 of 2010, as amended.
