Law No. 17 of 2018 Establishing the Workers’ Support and Insurance Fund

Establishes a statutory fund designed to support worker protection and address specified worker entitlements or employer-default situations within its legal mandate. It adds an institutional protection layer to the labour framework; it does not replace the employer’s primary wage and employment obligations. Availability of fund support must not be assumed for every unpaid amount or used as a substitute for payroll diligence.
